עֲדָקII m. (עדק; cmp. חָדַק, a. preced. wds.) something squeezed together, compress. Sabb.54b טומנין לה ע׳וכ׳ Ar. (ed. עֲזָק; Ms. O. עֲרָק, v. Rabb. D. S. a. l. note 70) we dip a compress in oil for her and put it Pl. עֲדָקִין. Ib. שני ע׳ בשמן (not של שמן; ed. עֲזָקִין, v. Rabb. D. S. a. l. note 90).עדקין, Targ.
